PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTOR (Part-Time)

POSITION DETAILS
- Casual part time
- Hours will include evenings (after 4pm), weekends, and some daytime hours (TBD during interview process)
- $16/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning & instructing youth visual arts programs (after school & weekend classes, PA day camps)
- Hosting birthday parties (slime, paint & crafty!)
- Planning crafts for Crafty Creations parties
- Cleaning and sanitizing of studio and supplies
- Maintaining an inclusive environment where all people feel safe, welcome and free to be themselves!
- Being positive, enthusiastic and encouraging!
REQUIRED SKILLS
- A passion for working with kids
- Excellent leadership, time management and communication skills
- Independent & self-motivated
- Comfortable using various visual arts and crafts mediums
- Ability to lead paint-a-longs for kids (using acrylic paint)
- Experience leading groups of children (ages 1-13)
- Must be willing to obtain a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- **Music skills are a plus!
